Pomegranate Theatre Reopens Their Big Screen Cinema Experience!

The Pomegranate Theatre’s big screen cinema experience is back from Fri 24 July!

We have been busy putting a number of comprehensive measures in place to ensure a safe environment for audiences and staff, and we are now ready to open. One of the biggest changes we have implemented is a new socially distanced seating plan. You can read about this and what to expect when you visit the Pomegranate Theatre in our safe welcome back information.

The cinema programme, with tickets priced from £5.20, will include a wide range of films to suit all ages including families with young children who will be able to see action-packed films including Trolls World Tour and Disney Pixar’s Onward.  Films such as Military Wives and Emma, which were released just before lockdown, will get an extended run. And, we also be giving some much deserved screen time to multi-award-winning favourites such as Mamma Mia!, The Greatest Showman and Dunkirk.  The recently released Love Sarah, which is set to be popular with ‘Bake Off’ fans, will be screened, and there are plenty of fantastic films still to be released in 2020 which we look forward to sharing with you.

Tickets for the screenings should be pre-booked on our website. Friends will save 50p per ticket and can also book onine for these events. As well as avoiding disappointment by a guaranteed seat, pre-booking tickets online will help to reduce contact and queues at the box office. You can also spoil yourself by pre-ordering tasty treats including ice creams, sweets and drinks at a reduced price. You will be given the option to select one or more of the following packages when checking out.  We look forward to welcoming you back!
